Quality — fast and flexible!
When Becker Industrielack planned their new BeckryMix installation, they naturally wanted it to be both fast and flexible. Since it was commissioned in 2004 at a cost of €0.5 M, the new mixing line has fully lived up to expectations.
It is now able to produce batches up to 1,000 kg of BeckryPol and BeckryTech HD coil coatings for rapid despatch. Precise control of quality is key to fast response, so the computer-operated dosing valves work to a precision of ± 2 gms. 48 different primary colours, colour pastes and additives are held, tightly quality-controlled, in tanks of 200–10,000 litres.
Spare tanks in the mixing line allow fast flexibility for future new products.
