Becker Industrial Coatings' "Centres of Excellence", sited at the centre of a web of service, supply technological support and styling inspiration to the network. They are also equipped to run pilot trials of new coatings ideas.
Currently there are three such centres within Becker Industrial Coatings' Special Coatings business area.
- The Mobile Phones Centre of Excellence, situated in Sweden, has a high reputation with mobile phone OEMs.
- The TV & Consumer Electronics Centre of Excellence, situated in the UK, is building a reputation with TV and audio-visual equipment.
- The UV Centre of Excellence, situated in China, supports a wide range of radiation curing applications, particularly on plastic substrates.
Close cross-fertilisation between the centres of excellence reflects the integration taking place in the consumer electronics industry.
